Advocating and educating...

I know, I'm full of stuff today. Yesterday I ran into an education and advocating moment. I actually had to tell someone that you can't use a VP as an interpreting agency! VP doesn't work that way, sorry. Why should we have "interpreters" for free for job interviews? VP frowns upon us using them as interpreters. I was thinking to myself, where did my advocacy come from? Usually, I'm as quiet as a mouse and tend not to educate and advocate. But yesterday I actually did that. I felt proud and accomplished after my scolding/lecture :-) I actually did something! I advocated and educated! Whoo!
