OK, so tweens are crazy about The Jonas Brothers, right? Well, just now, this morning, I saw a mention on the Good Morning America show that the brothers' mother is/was a sign language teacher! Interesting. I wonder if the Jonas Brothers know any signs? It'd be cool if they could create a sign music video! What do you think?

Who are the Jonas Brothers? Leave a link?
I thought I put in a link there? OK, I'll try to fix it...
I actually know someone who is a CODA who used to babysit the Jonas Brothers. Yes they did know a little sign language, not sure about the mother being an ASL teacher? But I know they've def been exposed to sign language.
A music video with D-PAN would be cool! Invite the Jonas Brothers to do a video with other deaf performers!
Yes, a couple of days ago, I read the rolling stones magazine cover article of this month issue on the brothers. It mentioned that their mother was once a sign language teacher.
I shudder to think her as certified aslta one - but more likely teaching in a church sign language, as is common among all types of churches in US trying to include deaf congregates by adding interpreters, etc. Jonas Brothers' mom probably did went that route.
And then it boomed - their father is a singer and pastor. They are christian group, similiar to the osmonds and their mormon religion, becoming famous.
So we look at them with hope and see . . .
u got it - they could do some asl musicvideo - how when we ll see.
Jonas Brothers will appear on ABC's 20/20 program tonight 10 pm est maybe they will talk about their mother...if I don't return to comment further...that means Jonas did not talk about their mother and ASL
yeah just a mention ..."their mother, a sign language teacher,...."
that's all nothing else....y'all have to dig more info why she is considered a sign language teacher
Hi, I just finished reading a book written by judy jonas, it was about a deaf woman named rose pizzo. Judy jonas is a hearing writer, she retired from 20 years as a co coordinator of the fair lawn deaf program in new jersey in 1999 and went back to school to complete an interpreter training and asl deaf studies program. It could be jonas brothers grandmother as from what I read, she sounds like an older person and then jonas brothers mother may have learned sign language from her. I'm not sure if they are even related or not but something to note about and maybe someone out there may have an answer abt the jonas brothers mother.
Hi, i showed this to my 2 koda girls (7 & 4) they love the Jonas Brothers...they were thrilled to find out that their mother knows sign language...thanks for the info :)
